Instructions
  • Cook bacon in large skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet and add to slow cooker.
  • Brown beef, in batches, in same skillet. Remove beef from skillet and add to slow cooker. Cook mushrooms, onion and carrot in same skillet, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes. Stir in flour, then add to slow cooker. Stir water, red wine, Knorr® Hunter Classic Roast Gravy Mix and garlic into slow cooker. Cook on HIGH 6 hours or LOW 10 hours or until beef is tender.
